The Real Ale bar crawl. We start at Bar|One and then head on down to Kelham Island for some excellent real ales whilst in exceptional company.
Thurs 11th Feb
Meet: Bar|One 7pm
This decade's first Peroxide! Held at the Raynor Lounge and with free entry as per awesome usual.
Sat 13th Feb
Doors 7pm
Northern Oak headline a charity gig at Corp, with entry to the clubnight included.
Mon 16th Feb
Forged!
Meet: Bar|One 7pm
There will be a small number of us grabbing a quick drink at Bar|One at 7pm for anyone who doesn't know where the Dove and Rainbow is.
The committee can be recognised by their sexy RockSoc t-shirts, so come over and say hi if you're coming along for the first time.

As well as the above events, RockSoc recommend Forged, Sheffield’s weekly rock and metal night. Hosted by the Dove ‘n’ Rainbow (behind Pizza Hut in the centre of town) it sees a glorious mixture of all the best music and an ever-changing mixture of real ales. From cliquey to mainstream, there’s something for everyone and all requests are welcome
Forged is held every Monday from 7pm, starting from the 15th of February.
Peroxide is the Sheffield Rock Soc’s monthly social event of awesome. Tunes are selected by your loving committee and various guest DJs, and will range through every possible genre under the greater umbrella of rock. Previous peroxides have also featured games of giant twister and our now-infamous air guitar competition, so are not to be missed!
The Peroxide events are usually held on a Thursday at the Raynor Lounge off Bar|One. Entry is always free and fun is guaranteed, or your money back.
This year we also introduce a new weekly social: Curried. We take advantage of the lovely little deal of a curry and a brew for a fiver at the Swim Inn, and then head off to a local watering hole for some joyous merry-making and casual conversation.
We hold Curried every Thursday at 5pm for a curry and then head to the next venue around 7pm
